Penn State CHANCE — Connecting Humans And Nature through Conservation Experiences — is offering students hands-on research experience in Greece this summer. Students will study, develop solutions to reduce plastic pollution in Aegean Sea.

This summer, 19 Penn State students learned the real history behind the Mafia during “Organized Crime in Film and Society,“ a three-week course taught on site in different locations in Palermo and Rome, Italy.

Penn State Behrend graduate Olivia Dubin could not attend the college's May 3 commencement ceremony because she is completing an internship in Germany. Dubin, who earned a degree in plastics engineering technology, used one of the college's robots to participate in the program remotely.
